Our SOURCE Incubator program is an agile coaching capability development program that runs over 12-weeks.
It aims to accelerate an agile coach’s career, delivering a step-change in their capability. The SOURCE Incubator is different to traditional knowledge-based certified agile courses in that it combines field experiments, reflective practices, community networking and mentoring with face-to-face learning to deliver what we believe is the most comprehensive agile coaching course on the market today.
The SOURCE Incubator program is open to the public and is also offered in-house to our client organisations.
The program is based on Niall McShane’s highly acclaimed book “Responsive Agile Coaching-how to accelerate your coaching outcomes with meaningful conversations” and has been accredited with the International Consortium of Agile as a certified course within the agile coaching track
In the video below Niall McShane provides an overview of the course and why it was created.

Participants will achieve the following outcomes from the Incubator program:
A: At SOURCE we believe that IC Agile designed their programs to be delivered like this. We believe that providing participants the opportunity to use newly acquired knowledge in the workplace as they learn it is the best way to integrate it into your agile coaching practice
A: YES, the program design allows for up to three classes to be missed; utilising your personal mentor time allowance and videos you can make up these missed classes and still be eligible for the IC Agile certifications.
A: If you provide us with 30 days notice we will give you a full refund. Less than 30 days' notice we will provide you with a 50% refund. If you cancel within 7 days of the course starting or during the course we, unfortunately, cannot provide a refund as we have to pay our trainers and mentors.
A: No, this program requires participants to already have some experience working in or around an agile team. The Incubator program does not cover the basics of agile, frameworks, or any other fundamental principles; it focuses exclusively on how to coach others to adopt agile as a way to work.
A: It is recommended you undertake the IC Agile Fundamentals course prior to taking this program. It is not compulsory; just recommend.
A: We strongly recommend you speak with one of our Incubator team prior to applying. We can then discuss your development goals to ascertain if this course is a good fit for you. Email us at incubator@sourceagility.com.au

New mates, skills & wisdom.
The very first cohort of Responsive Agile Coaches!

Thank you participants for sharing your experiences

In my opinion, the Responsive Agile Coaching Model was probably the main attraction of this course for me. It is based on the book by Niall McShane, who also co-facilitated the course. The book really struck a chord with me when I first read it.
(...) spending time with other agile coaches at different stages, in different organisations, and different countries was fantastic. We spend plenty of time sharing experiences, and tips & tricks, and had a lot of fun along the way.

Really excited that I achieved certification in ICP-ACC & ICP-ATF, and also being the first batch of Responsive Agile Coaches by Source Agility.
12-weeks of experiments, practices, deep discussions, and exchanging insights, from straight faces in week 1 turn into happy faces in week 12.
Best of luck with the course Niall McShane and Daniel Hill.

In “Responsive Agile Coaching” – Niall McShane draws on over a decade of agile coaching experience to document a clear and well-researched model that lifts the lid on how agile coaching actually works. The book starts by defining what the role of agile coach has become in recent times before putting forward a field-tested and theoretically sound model for conducting agile coaching conversations.
